My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershey is an approximately 10 year old Minature Poodle who weighs about 20lbs. She was surrendered to the rescue in December of 2016 after her lifelong owner passed away. At the time Hershey was not spayed & had a huge mamory gland tumor. After determining she was healthy enough for surgery the tumor was removed & she was spayed. Hershey went from a lazy slow old girl to brand new dog. She now loves to run & play! Of course napping is still her favorite hobby, rivaled only by eating, but she is noticeably happier & more energetic now. Hershey is our longest resident with the rescue & she is beloved greatly by her foster family but we all truly want to see her in a home where she can be the center of attention like she deserves to be. Hershey gets very attached to her owner & simply wants to be with them. We would like to see her with someone who is home often to be with her.
