My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


We found Professor Plum at Dakin Humane Society in Springfield, MA, as a kitten in 2010. She is an indoor cat. She is affectionate, social, loves to sleep wherever we are, and enjoys being pet and brushed. She gets along with our dog, though she is a bit bossy. She is a beautiful cat and is good at cleaning herself. She is confident and will greet visitors. She also likes to perch on the windowsill and watch the birds and she loves to chase a laser pointer.

The reason we are trying to find a new home for her is that our toddler is testing her patience - she has taken some swipes at him. While managing this situation for about 6 months, we have decided that both she and our toddler would be much happier if they were separated. She has been around older children before with no issues - we think she just needs to be in a home with people who can read her signals.

We hope she will find a home with someone who wants a cuddly, low-maintenance cat!
