My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is a 13 year old girl who would love to find a special place to call home for the her remaining days. She is a very sweet collie girl who is very active and mobile for an old gal. She is affectionate and loving and really likes to be groomed. She walks very well on her leash and still likes a good romp around the backyard.

Sophie is NOT good with cats but is excellent with other dogs. She really likes to play and a home with another senior dog who will share toys and play in the yard would be wonderful for Sophie. She is a good, quiet girl, housetrained, spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is currently being fostered in an apartment and is doing wonderfully there. As long as she gets her walks and some play time at the local doggie park, Sophie is a happy girl!

We would like to see Sophie in a home where someone is home during the day with her as she really likes to be with her people. She will make an excellent companion for an active, quieter home, perhaps a retired couple who are looking for a buddy to walk with and keep them company on the couch while watching TV.
