My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kiwi! Kiwi is a sweet timid little girl who had a rough start in life.  At the tender age of 5 weeks,  she and her siblings found themselves washed up in a flood along the Ohio river and a good Samaritan brought them in to the shelter. These tiny babies had no immunities to protect themselves and had never experienced love or care from a human.  They were petrified, and alone in a scary new place.

Out of the litter, Kiwi took the longest to adjust to living in a home with her foster family. At first she was fearful and hide every chance she had.  However now she is a loving little girl who LOVES to be held like a baby and be petted. She is still timid in new situations but sits back and observes her siblings and warms up quickly. Kiwi loves to wrestle with her 4 siblings and would do best adopted with one of her siblings (although not a requirement for adoption) or into a home with a playmate. Kiwi loves playing with his toys, sneak attacking her siblings and checking out new places in her foster home (although she lets her siblings go first!) Kiwi does well with dogs as long as they are not too pushy with her and ignore her and seems to be cautiously ok with the resident cats in her foster home. She continues to work on getting used to new experiences and things and would require a little bit of patience adjusting to a new environment. Once given the chance however, she is a super sweet little girl who loves to be held and would provide lots of love to a foster family.

Kiwi is approximately 10 weeks old (as of 4-5-18). On 4-9-18 she will be  spayed, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, de-wormed, and on monthly flea, tick and ear mite prevention. She is the smallest out of her litter and was not big enough to be spayed when the rest of her litter was.  She is available for a minimum donation of $100 for a pair of kittens . She would love to have a family to call her own and promises to provide lots of love and laughter!
