Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reggie is my 6-year-old beloved cuddle buddy. When I adopted him at 9 weeks old, the shelter classified him as a Daschund/Chihuahua mix. He's a playful dog, but his favorite thing to do is cuddle up and sleep. He loves belly scratches, toys, and walks. He's friendly with dogs similar to his size or smaller (under 25 lbs.), and children.
It saddens me deeply that I have to find Reggie (or how I sometimes like to call him, Reginald) a new forever home. My daily schedule makes it difficult for me to attend to Reggie's needs. I would love to find a loving home for him where he has space and a yard for him to roam around. He's the perfect buddy for an owner or family who can spend time with him.
Reggie is house trained but sometimes marks out of anxiety or to be territorial. He is also neutered. He knows basic commands like "sit" and "stay" as well as "roll-over," however, he could benefit from additional obedience training. He does shed and barks like a true chihuahua, but he's incredibly loving.
