Meet Allie! This adorable blue girl was rescued from the shelter and taken in to rescue. She has received all of her vetting and has been fully evaluated and assessed as far as her temperament goes, and she is now ready for adoption!
Meet Allie! This adorable blue girl was rescued from the shelter and taken in to rescue. She has received all of her vetting and has been fully evaluated and assessed as far as her temperament goes, and she is now ready for adoption!
Allie is a sweet little girl, who is your typical happy go lucky pittie who gets along with all humans that she meets. She takes direction well and minds when given commands during play or training and responds wonderfully to all forms of reward including toys, treats, and affection. She is a medium sized dog who weighs in around 50 lbs and would make a great addition to most families.
This girl just loves to play and is a stellar athlete. She loves to play fetch, especially with her favorite kong ball, and enjoys toys of all manner. She would make an excellent hiking partner because she always has energy to go along with any fun activity your doing, and enjoys every moment spent with her people. She does get along with dogs of her own size and temperament, meaning she does well with well rounded, social dogs who can help her continue to learn proper socialization as she did arrivea year ago with a serious lack of some. She may be better as an only dog in the household on a daily basis, but is definitely more than capable of making a friend or two! We would recommend a home without cats as she does give a desire to chase should they run. However, any family with children of all ages would enjoy making her an addition to their home and lifestyle, as she truly adores her human's and is very sweet.
Allie loves to play, especially a game of fetch or playing with a rope toy. She has a lot of energy and enjoys running around . She also loves the water, and will even jump to catch the rain when it's dreary outside. Otherwise she is happy to chase and bite at the water from the hose when it's a hot summer day outside.
Allie is fully vetted, meaning she is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. She is heartworm positive, but is currently on the slow kill treatment plan and should recover with no lasting health issues fairly soon.
