My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BELLA is a beautiful long-haired black and white tuxedo cat with glossy fur, a white blaze and a big fluffy tail, about eight years old. She was left behind when her people moved away. She was taken in by neighbors who already had cats, so they brought her to us.

Bella is living in one of our smaller rooms, with a few new friends. After all these upheavals in her life, she is not sure if this human species can be trusted, so she can be feisty at times. However, she has gotten much friendlier since she arrived, and now can be picked up without the application of her claws, if you ask permission first.

She is very curious and loves attention, but will let you know when she has had enough, with little nips. She is also very food-motivated. When the food cans are being opened, she is right there watching and reaching up with her front paws, as if to say “Is that for me?” Food could be the key to smoothing off the rough edges of her behavior.

Bella might prefer to be the only princess in a stable, quiet home, preferably without small children. If you would like a cat with spunk, and are willing to earn her trust, then Bella might be the cat for you. Come on over and meet her !!
