My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a female orange tabby, which is somewhat unusual as orange tabbies are commonly males. (And I do look like a male.) I am a large girl and turned 8 years old in March 2014.

I was adopted as a kitten in 2006 and recently returned in October 2013 due to my owner falling on hard times and having to move without me.

It may take me a couple of weeks to adjust and during that time I may hiss and/or swat at you. I may do that here at the adoption center just because there is too much going on around me and it makes me grouchy.

Give me time to get to know you and you will see my true personality. I am friendly and eager for attention, although not pushy about it. I enjoy being around people and will probably want to be in the same room with you. I do like to lie in a lap when I am in the mood!

I have been in homes with other cats and dogs for most of my life, but I would love to be an only cat and have someone I could call all my own. I would do best with older children as the young ones are too busy for me.

I have a Special Friend donation of $35 towards my Adoption fee. It would be only $40 to Adopt me!
