Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This young handsome male cat, an Egyptian Mau Mix, is very dog-like & very spirited. Will follow you everywhere. Sadly, he was abandoned by renters who moved away, and was then rescued as he waited at the front door of his previous home wondering why he was left. He needs a home with experienced adult cat-lovers. Fully vetted and healthy. He is energetic & needs to be engaged in play and given attention, loves his people; older teens or college kids are fine, but would not be a good fit with young children. He is very smart & intuitive, understands commands and generally obeys. We think he is a good fit for a dog household, since he is so much like a dog himself. Adopter should patiently, gradually test him with the dogs. He tends to be too 'alpha' with other cats, but may be fine if it's a multi-cat household already. He is an indoor cat, but we have trained him to walk on a harness with a leash since he is so dog-like. We are fine with you testing Toby as a foster first, to make sure it's a good fit for you & for him. We want him returned to us if it isn't. We have invested a lot in Toby, and want him to have a safe loving forever home. (Application Required)
