Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ringo is a Lab/Bassett mix who was dumped out in the country and picked up by one of our volunteers. Ringo loves people and appears to be crate trained -he does not like to soil his area and he can hold it overnight. Ringo does have food aggression with other dogs but is fine with people. You can feed him by hand. His food aggression can be worked on or he can be fed seperately from other dogs. Ringo is dominant - he thinks he is the boss when it comes to other dogs, therefore, he would do better with more submissive dogs. Since Ringo has just been neutered so this may also subside a bit. Ringo likes to chase cats, so he will need to be trained how to behave with them. The bassett in Ringo makes him a wanderer, so keeping him on a leash or in a fenced yard is a must. Ringo needs training, and a loving family with a large yard for him to run in. Ringo is neutered, current on his vaccinations and heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $90.00. Please call or email if you would like to meet Ringo.
