Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! This is Brody. He is just over 2 years old and has been with our family since he was puppy. We got Brody from the same breeder of our first boxer (who unfortunately we lost to cancer). In the 2 shorts years that we've had Brody, we've welcomed a third child, moved and started new jobs. Needless to say, our time is spread pretty thin. Of course, when we got Brody none of those things were in the plan, but such is life and we just had to make a really really hard decision.
Brody is your typical boxer. Loving and loyal. And very high energy. He needs access to a large yard and someone with the time and abilities to take him on long walks or runs. He is crate trained and house broken. He responds to basic commands and does well on a leash. He really just needs a family that can dedicate time and attention to him. He is really quite affectionate and has a tendency to just follow you around the house (they actually call that a "velcro boxer" :)
We do have three small children (all under 5) so he knows how to be around kids. He may not be aware of his size or strength, but he does not have an aggressive bone in his body. We do really feel like he would do so much better in an adult only home or family with older kids - only because we know how hard it can be to the time to give him the attention/exercise/etc. that he needs.
This was a very tough call for our family to make, but we recognize the time is just not there for and really do feel that he could thrive in a more hands on environment. We do just want to find a really great forever home for him.
