My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kovu is approximately 6 month old male Samoyed puppy. He came to us not socialized, meaning he is initially afraid of new situations, and unfamiliar people. He is a happy boy and loves to play with other dogs. Unknown his reaction to cats. Kovu is currently in a foster home and is learning housebreaking, crate training, leash training and basic socialization with people. He recently had his very first grooming session with our volunteers, which he tolerated the session fairly well considering, but continued grooming training will be required.

We are looking for a family in Colorado with no small children that can provide:
--- Calm environment, patience & time
--- Preferably a family member that can be home during the day, or has flexibility to be home over lunch for potty breaks.
--- A secure fenced yard
--- Willingness to continue his training started by the foster home, and patience for grooming sessions.
--- Preferably a home that currently has a dog that is confident, friendly, low-key and accepting of a young dog.
