My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blondie is a sweet, sweet older girl. She was surrendered to the shelter because her owner could no longer care for her (age, medical), and she was in pretty bad shape in the shelter. We’ve nursed her back to health, and she’s doing fine now! Much of her health issues were due to a thryoid condition, but we’ve corrected that with inexpensive medication.

She’s spayed, UTD on shots, and the only medication she needs is the thryoid meds (about $12/mo).

She loves people, cuddling and kisses! She will follow you all over the house, and can even be walked off leash without running off, so she’s awesome on leash. She loves a nice walk at a slower pace. She’s good with other dogs (she mostly ignores them - she’s far more interested in her humans!), and would likely be very good with cats also.

She still has a spring in her step, but at 10 yrs old, she’s slowing down, so she would be perfect for a retiree who wants companionship! She’s very well behaved, rarely barks, and is fully housetrained.

Her owner was an older man, so she’s not afraid of men at all, and also loves women.
