Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Anchor was mistreated his first year of life and I rescued him knowing I was allergic to dogs. I just wanted him out of a bad situation. He's just about 6 now and my allergies are steadily getting worse over the years. I can no longer give him the affection he deserves. I feel bad that I do not enjoy caring for him. He's very sweet, many people describe him as "dopey" and he can be very vocal/loud under some circumstances. He snores. Anchor is a medium dog (about 40lbs) he likes to wander off if given the chance, but he does not dart out the door. He comes when I call unless there is a squirrel! Anchor likes having space to roam, and chase rodents. He sleeps in a kennel and stays in there when I leave the house if the weather is bad. Also he has a couple of bad habits, namely stealing food if left unattended or from a child eating on the floor. He's not allowed on any furniture here because of my allergies but he would love to cuddle up with somebody and be part of the family.
