Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Birch is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH)/Siamese-mix, male, 6 months of age, DOB: (4/3/18).
Much like his brother Cottonwood, Birch is a very affectionate cat who loves people. He doesn't hesitate to talk about it either, he often calls out greetings to people he meets. He's got an independent side too and his inquisitive nature keeps him busy as he explores new nooks and crannies - a cat tower or fort of boxes won't be wasted on this guy!
When Birch and his brother aren't cat napping together, they can often be found playing together with whatever toys they can find, though toy mice are a favorite. They both get along well with other cats and kittens as well and don't hesitate to invite other cats into their antics.
Birch is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for just about any household with a low to moderately-active lifestyle.
As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.
Birch currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet him Tuesday – Thursday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm; Friday and Saturday, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm; or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.
All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption.
Completed adoption applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W. Monroe St, Dundee, MI 48131.
