My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a well mannered, calm and smart dog to add to your family then Sandy would be an excellent choice. She is small and petite, only around 27 pounds, and is used to a life of being an indoors only pet.

Sandy is housebroke, crate-trained and can be trusted around the home to not get into things or jump on your furniture. Watch out though! She just might want to gently climb on your lap for lots of cuddles and hugs! She loves to be pampered, her curly fur brushed and to be held. If you like to have your dog wear sweaters and costumes then Sandy is a girl most willing to let you dress her up.

She will imitate your actions at times which shows how bright she is! Very good with other dogs, children , cats and older folks, Sandy is sensitive natured and absolutely cute. She is jet black and white with an adorable little sandy colored spot above her right eye, and a bit of sandy fur on her feet. Please call Brenda, her foster mom at 740-707-4129 so you can meet Sandy. She loves to go for walks but is not a sporting dog. She finishes her treatment for heartworms on March 2nd and will be spayed soon after.
