My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maxie is a smart, goofy, 2-year old kitty. She's even learned clicker training skills such as:

- Smooch (you make smooching sounds and she climbs your lap to kiss your lips)
- High Five
- Fist Bump
- Paw

and is continuing to learn more skills! Maxie is a shy kitty. If you are a patient adopter and you give her time to learn to trust you, you'll be rewarded with a deep bond with a very loving cat.

In the beginning, you know she wants to be close to you even though she's shy because she does a little dance and wiggles her tail a few feet away from you. Then over time as she trusts you more and more:

- She will make circles around your legs wanting you to pick her up every time you feed her
- When you carry her, she rubs her head against your neck and nuzzles you
- She will sleep with you at the foot of your bed
- When you come home she will meow adorably for you to pet her
- She absolutely loooooves playing with you when you pull out a wand toy
- You'll be able to clicker train her and teach her new skills
