You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Kitty Pryde! Kitty Pryde is a silly little girl.She loves to play with her litter mates. Kitty Pryde was found in an old shed when she and her litter mates were just a few days old. Unfortunately, her mother passed away just a couple of days later. Luckily, KGARL had two nursing mama cats and we were able to take in Kitty Pryde and her five brothers and sisters. The nursing moms fed the kittens when their foster mom asked them to, but it took a few weeks for the kittens to be accepted as part of the family. During that time, their foster mom supplemented with bottle feedings. Because of this, these adorable kittens have been handled, multiple times a day, every day since they were one week old. In addition, they've also had the benefit of being cared for by two very friendly, social, and caring mama cats. All of the kittens in this litter are social, playful, and very content with being picked up and carried around. They also love to eat and come running when they hear the treat container ;)
Here is the story of Kitty Pryde and her family: On July 2nd, a stray cat showed up at the house of one of our volunteers. Feeling that she had found the best B&B in town, the next day she brought her whole family: another cat and three kittens! The family of five was taken in, went to the vet, and settled into their new life in a foster home. Both of the adult cats were nursing the three kittens, who were estimated to be about 7 weeks old, at the time. The cats were given names: Mama Emma, Mama Sadie, Tori, Callie and Dot. Fast forward a few days. KGARL was contacted about a litter of six, one-week old, orphaned kittens. Since we had two nursing mothers, we decided to bring in the babies, as well! It took a few days to work out the system, but now, both Emma and Sadie feed the orphaned kittens! It is quite the sight to see. Emma and Sadie make a great team, and Tori, Callie, and Dot happily shared their moms with the little ones :)
