Tamu (Swahili for "sweet or delightful") was found hanging around a garage where her baby was trapped inside. Although her teen son, Kanu (Swahili for wi ldcat), found a home on an 11 acre horse farm, Tamu is still looking for her furever home. Tamu may not be "flashy" to look at, but she is very calm and good natured. She likes other cats and gets along fine with dogs. She loves raw food (including raw chicken scraps), and canned food especially. She is about 5 years old and is up to date on her medical, including having a dental in Feb 2015. Tamu is such a fine girl. She would love a home where she can get plenty of personal attention. Tamu wanted us to add that she also loves climbing cat trees and window beds ;)
