My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We found Barkley in the mountains on a cold day this winter. We have been unable to locate his original owners, and while we love him, we live in a small house and already have two large dogs.

Barkley is a cuddle bug just waiting to find his furrever home! He is great with children and other dogs. He loves attention and snuggling up inside. He is house trained and not a chewer. His favorite things are putting on his harness to go for a walk or run on the trail or in the neighborhood, chicken, and snuggling on the couch. He is afraid of thunderstorms, but will quiet if given the opportunity to sleep in a safe space (his bed) in the room with people. He has some separation anxiety, and would do well with a family with mixed schedules, kids, or a single individual who works from home.
