A big Texas howdy-do to you! My name is Bowie, and I'm a loving, very outgoing, easy-going gray Classic tabby fella with a white belly, legs, and muzzle who was born in May 2014. In fact, it looks like the bottom half of my body got dipped in white paint! Classic tabbies have marble swirls which can look like a bulls-eye on their sides (as opposed to stripes like a mackerel tabby). We Classic tabbies are really quite unusual, and I'm very handsome, if I do say so myself. I was named after David Bowie because the markings around my big green eyes appear to be eyeliner.
My foster meowmy says that I'm quite a lap-kitty; she really likes it that I wrap my paws around her head while she watches TV. Hey, I just like to be close to her, and I can watch my favorite programs better from the back of the recliner! I'm good with the little dogs in my foster home, but I was a little dominant at first with the other kitties there until I got acquainted with them. I was just insecure in my new 'digs,' which made me hide at first too. I adjusted quite quickly, however, and now I'm just fine!
I was originally found as a wee orphan kitten, who was very grateful for being rescued! From the very beginning, I loved to be picked up and petted. I was adopted by a nice lady, but she moved back to her home country and couldn't take me with her. She left me with a friend, who later dumped me at a vet. I don't know why, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. I'm just glad that the vet scanned me and found a microchip that traced back to Buster's Friends.
My Buster's Friends' foster meowmy promises that she'll find me a great new forever home this time. If you're looking for one handsome dude with a great disposition, I'm the guy for you.
