Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Akira is about 1 yr, 35 pounds. On her right side she is fawn with black brindle, her right she is solid fawn. People love asking about her unique coat, it's a conversation starter. I'm looking for an active individual or family to rehome my loving baby girl to. I would love to keep her, however, I move a few times a year and it's getting more difficult to bring her some places we go. As well, day to day, I'm finding it hard to give her enough attention.
She is very well mannered, though when she meets new people, all she wants to do is play with the newcomer. She is crate trained, it's hers to keep. She is an inside dog, but loves to play outside. Rehoming her was a very hard decision to make, she is such a good dog, I want to see her off to a loving home! She doesn't beg...often, please no human food, she loves cuddling as much as playing, she generally stays off furniture, unless she sees a blanket, or you have a recliner she can fit in between your legs in your lap. She likes stealing clothes to cuddle with if you're in the other room. If there's nothing to do she will sleep, most of the time in her crate, it has a garage door that pullsup and lays flat on top. She loves stretching, out on the floor, she is very limber. She'll chews on her nails if you don't keep them groomed short, I'll include her grooming supplies. I have not had her fixed, she's an inside dog, everytime she was outside, I was with her. If you wish to spay her, it's up to you - it's a stressful process for a female dog that puts her down on medication for 10 days or longer - I just never felt the need to put her through that. She's only had one heat cycle.
Her commands - haven't quite broken her reliability off treats
>In your crate (reliably goes in crate, please occasionally feed on this command while she's in her crate)
>Sit
>Stay
>Down/off
>Leave it
>Wait
>Speak
>Paw(sort of knows left and right)
>Lay
>Do you love me? (Responds with a rawr/whimper/bark - no treats needed)
Not sure if she is protective because she loves everyone, but she will alert to suspicious noises outside. As you can tell, I don't want to give my girl up, she is my baby girl and I love her to death. She has a loving home now, we just can't keep taking her with us with my condition worsening. I rescued her from a tick infested home that hag get until she was 3 months old, before that she was thrown from a moving truck and left in a muddy ditch at 1 month.
