I was born about May 1, 2017, I would prefer to be an only pet.June 15, 2022, 12:08 am

More about this shelter

The Henry County Humane Society is firmly committed to the task of creating a better community through the prevention of cruelty to animals and by fostering ongoing education to instill humane principles in all residents. It is this commitment to caring that forms the foundation upon which the HCHS is built.

The HCHS was founded in 1981 and in 1984 we began operating the county's first full-service animal shelter.

The HCHS relies heavily on donations from the public. Every donation made is appreciated and is always tax-deductible. Volunteers are always needed. There are many ways to volunteer. Please contact the shelter to find out how you can help!
