My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Sadie & Sophie are border collie/black lab mix dogs. They love children and people in general. They have been raised with cat siblings as well.

Our girls are in need of a home while their loved ones teach abroad. We are hoping someone will open up their homes and hearts and welcome them into their family.

If fostering, I would be more than happy to continue paying for their Bravecto (flea/tick preventative) and food while we are away. We hope to be in a more pet friendly country after this next school year.

The girls are siblings and we rescued them 9 years ago from a shelter in North Carolina where we were living at the time. They were abandoned as very young pups from a yard where the home was foreclosed. They travel well in cars when on vacation and made regular trips with to MA from NC. They truly just enjoy being wherever you are. They also always enjoy a nice walk or short hike.
