My story

Maya was found under a house and came to us with 4 babies.  She was quite feral and took her sweet time trusting us.  But now she enjoys having her face rubbed and her neck scratched.  She will stay close to you, but doesn't like to be held for long periods of time.  This could change, once she is comfortable in her forever home.  Please consider giving Maya a chance!

More about this rescue

Animal Rescue Carolina (ARC) is a no-kill,501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is four-fold: 1) to promote spay-neuter, 2) to restore stray animals to good medical health, before adopting them into permanent, loving homes, 3) to encourage Trap, Neuter, and Return(TNR) and, 4) to educate pet owners about their responsibilities as guardians for their companion animals.

We are a completely foster-based rescue group. If you would like to make a donation, please click on the Paypal button. All donations are tax deductable and go directly to care of the animals.
