ADOPTED!! Meet MORNING STAR! Life is never static, especially where horses and children are concerned. Morning Star was adopted as a yearling by a family who wanted a horse their son could grow with. Morning Star was a 4-H horse and she and her boy did very well, winning ribbons and having fun. Time has passed, the boy has grown and to everyone's surprise Morning Star never did reach the size of her mother. The young lad has grown and Morning Star wasn't being ridden (she is very green broke); so the family contacted SHARE to see if Morning Star could find a new family that would appreciate her "shorter stature" - and here she is - Miss Morning Star! She is still the lovely lady with wonderful ground manners, loads into a trailer, enjoys grooming, is easy to halter in the pasture, and is good for the farrier. What a beauty she is going to be as she turns gray! She stands 13.2 hands and is 6 years old.

Morning Star's adoption fee is $500.

If you are interested in adopting Morning Star, she is available for adoption in Illinois or within a 3-hour driving radius of Champaign County, Illinois.
