Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We adopted Sousa four years ago, when she was 16 weeks old. She has been the best dog. She is very well behaved and doesn’t chew on anything but her toys. She has good manners and will obey any command (sit, stay, come, lay down, paw, roll over, crawl, touch your nose—yep she’ll do that one!) She has a snuggly personality and just wants to be your buddy. She loves to play fetch in the yard with a tennis ball or frisbee.
It has been an extremely hard decision to rehome Sousa. She is a little bit of a nervous dog, always has been, and she startles somewhat easily. Due to these characteristics she is too jumpy around our two year old daughter. We don’t think Sousa would do well with younger children who are unpredictable. We think she’d be fine with children 8-10yr or older. Because she’s such a snuggly dog we’re hoping to find her a new owner/family who will love her and let her cuddle up every once in awhile :-)
