Hi! I'm Spike! I was just saved and now I'm looking for my new and loving forever home! Yes, I'm a unique little cutie pie! I'm a little thin but happily working on gaining weight. I'm approx. 14 months old and approx. 12 pounds(6/9/18). I'm shy at first but, once I get to know you, I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. You'll see how precious I am in my video! I'm great with older kids and most other dogs. I prefer females and submissive male dogs. Dominant males scare me especially when they get in my face. I haven't been tested with cats. I'm highly intelligent and mind well, inside and out. I'm house trained and not a barker. I need leash work with a harness. I bond quickly to my human. I follow my human everywhere and like to sleep right next to her. I also like to climb up in my human's lap and lie their as long as I can. I really enjoy being petted and loved on! I will melt right in to you. I would do best in a quiet and calm household. I will need a human with a big heart, patience and one that will socialize me more. I want to learn what being a loved dog is all about. If you're looking for a sweet and loving fur baby that you can truly give a better life to, then look no further! All pets come with up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. All pets come from NC/VA (our euthanasia rate is approx 85%) and must be quarantined (to ensure health) prior to leaving the state. We go ahead and post them in hopes of them having a home ready and waiting for them to go, once their quarantine period is over. We also adopt into Canada. FAST, AFFORDABLE TRANSPORTATION IS AVAILABLE if needed along the eastern United States, SO PLEASE DON'T LET DISTANCE STOP YOU FROM ADOPTING!
