My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BINX (KENTUCKY)
Make way for BIG, BOUNCY, BOISTEROUS and BEAUTIFUL BINX; an adorable 2-3 year-old playful jumbo Yorkie who weighs in at a very athletic 15 pounds. Binx is being fostered in Elizabethtown, KY.
Meet Binx, a beautiful jumbo Yorkie boy just waiting to bounce his playful puppy self into the lives of a lucky family. Do you LOVE the Yorkie look but secretly fear their tiny size? Do you long for a Yorkie that is hearty enough for a floor wrestling session or a raucous romp at the park that looks GREAT WITHOUT of a feather boa and does not need to be carried around in a purse? THEN LOOK NO FURTHER because Binx just might be the PAWFECT FUREVER MATCH you are looking for!
Binx was being his handsome, playful self when a good samaritan spotted him, lost, matted, dirty, so gave him a free lift to the shelter. Lucky for Binx, the shelter is a great one who has a wonderful relationship with UYR. We were notified about Binx over a week ago so when his stray hold was up our foster was ready to swoop him up and bust him out of Yorkie jail. Binx a very sweet, very rambunctious and VERY ACTIVE dog. We estimate his age to be 2-3 years old. So far he has had ZERO accidents in his foster home and gets along with humans and fur kids alike. Binx absolutely LOVES to romp and play. He loves his toys and loves fetching. One absolute requirement for Binx is a fenced yard. This pup has loads of energy and needs the space to express and expend it. We think Binx would likely be a great family dog to a family with teenage children. He would also be great for an active single or couple. Binx has been fully vetted including a dental that included removing 6 deciduous baby teeth. Now his adult teeth can finish coming in normally. Please don’t shy away from Binx because he is a big boy! The original Yorkshire Terriers were actually much closer to Binx’s size and were long considered the breed standard. There is even a very large social media following for Jumbo Yorkies too! Binx will give you DOUBLE THE LOVE so please stay tuned for updates and apply to adopt Binx today!
