My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Lucky. This kid is looking for a special family that can give him a fresh start. With his luxurious locks and adorably short legs, how can you say no? Lucky was relinquished to The Pet Rescue Center by his owner as they did not feel he was the right fit for their family. Lucky had an unknown past before them since they adopted him from the shelter, but we do know that he is a smart guy who just needs a structure and a bit of training. He loves going on walks with our volunteers and even gets to go on outings to the park and outdoor shopping areas too. He gets a little nervous with new people, but given a little time, he adapts just fine. Lucky is in need of a family that is prepared to work with him to be the well balanced dog that we know he can be. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company but we feel he should be in an adult only home. Contact us today to meet Lucky!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
