Our pup will require an owner who has ample time to dedicate to training and supporting the beagle temperament. Having an understanding of beagles and their needs is a must! He will need space to run his heart out and will need a lot of your attention. Beagles easily become frenzied when they haven't had enough exercise or human contact. All that said, he is a lovely dog! Loves to play and is so sweet and eager to please. Follows basic commands - most of the time :) He does well with our children but by no means should a child/teen be his primary caregiver. He has been neutered and received all of his 1 year shots and is on monthly flea medication - also been microchipped. We have had him sleep in his crate at night, but avoid putting him in it in the day unless absolutely necessary. He has a crate, food, toys, collar, tie out, supplements, etc. that we will send with him. Again, I will emphasize: Please have an understanding of beagles and their personalities/biological imperatives!
