My name is MEEKA, and I’m a 10 year old 7.6lb Chihuahua/JRT girl. I'm looking for a new family who will love me as much as my owner did. You see, my owner is an older person and had to move into a home where I couldn't go be with them. So now I'm looking for a new place to stay and I hope that someone has some space for me. You know, even though I'm an older girl, you wouldn't know it!
I'm a calm girl who loves my walks. My foster mom says I strut around like a movie star haha. I'd be a great companion for a retired person who wants a dog who will give them endless cuddles. I'm also great in the car and will just curl up and go to sleep. I also like to nap in sunny spots and you can find me anywhere there's a patch of sun.
I’m great with women, men, kids and strangers...just about everyone I meet. I sleep well in my bed, love to snuggle on the couch, good on leash and housetrained. I have a crate, but I don't need it as I'm not destructive at all. My health is good for a senior girl and I just had a full dental surgery/cleaning. I have a beautiful bright white smile now!
I'm good with other dogs, although the young ones may be too rambunctious for me. I'm ok with cats too after a proper introduction (I just ignore my foster cat sibling now). It may be better for me to be the only dog in my home, as I was pretty used to having all my humans attention on me my whole life.
So the hilarious thing about me is that I'm a Belieber! That's right, I LOVE Justin Bieber. I can't explain why but when his songs are played I gotta sing! My favourite is 'Baby Baby', and I will sing along with the song when you play it. It just fills me with joy so I hope my new family will indulge me in my passion. Although I'm not a crazy barker, I will let you know when someone comes to the door or there's loud noises. I'd prefer a home with a backyard to run around in and explore so no condos.
