Thank you for your interest in adooting. Our orphans are located in East Tennessee and transported via USDA CERTIFIED TRANSPORT to their adopters every weekend . Adoption information and application can be found on our website at www southernrootsrescue.org.
We are a 501c3 non profit organization
My name is Dug. I am about a year and a half old and weigh about 50 lbs. I think I am an American Bulldog mix (like the dog Chance in the movie Homeward Bound).
I am a sweet boy and I like to cuddle with my people and enjoy my doggie friends I live with. No cats live there, but I think I could get used to living with those too.
I like my toys and dog beds. I know my basic commands and walk well on a leash. I like car rides with my people. I take treats very politely. I am looking for a home of my own. Will you give me a chance??
