My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME***
Currently in Boise boarding kennels

MOCHA has been in our rescue since early 2017 when she was a puppy. She truly deserves her own family.

Hi, I'm MOCHA!

I'm a 6-year-old female pittie wiggle butt that loves to snuggle with my people. I'm house trained and crate trained and treat-motivated to learn more. I used love to play with other dogs, but my foster daddy believes that I will be best in a home as the only pet. Unfortunately, there will be no cats in my future.

I'm pretty good on leash, but still need reminders when my people say 'come'-treats will help. I'm still a little timid around strangers, so give them a few treats and let me warm up to them. I will never forget you once we bond. Did I tell you that I love my chewies?

Because I take time to warm to new people, I will do best in a home without small kids and with a patient family.

I'm already spayed and current on vaccines. I will be microchipped for my furever family. Because I have been without a family for so long, my adoption fee is only $100.

Additional adoption info

We require a foster or adoption application to qualify to foster or adopt our animals. We do check your current veterinary reference and landlord approval if renting. The next step is a "meet and greet" with all family members and/or household occupants, and current pets. Upon approval, we offer a "trial adoption" period that allows adopter to make sure of a good fit for both the dog and family. Adoption is final when adoption contract (different from application) is filled out and signed, and adoption fee is paid. Our adoption fees range from $75 - $300 (puppies) currently, but are subject to revision if our veterinary costs rise.
