My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy is one of our medical rescues. She is underweight, has hair loss, and a front leg injury. Her front leg is an old break and has already healed. Her adopter needs to be aware that she will probably always walk with a limp. Unfortunately, Sammy is heartworm positive, but she is undergoing treatment and this will not be something her adopter is financially responsible for. Even with all her hardships, she is a sweet, well-behaved girl. It appears she has always been a stray, so she is learning the ropes of house training and indoor living. She is catching on quite well. She is easy to fall in love with. Since she is currently under medical care, she is not available quite yet, but we are not opposed to accepting applications and finding her perfect family before her release. Anyone who adopts this girl will be very lucky. She is precious. PS. Be prepared for lots of snorting and snoring. :)
