My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Deedee is a loyal, cuddly girl who loves to get pets and belly rubs from her human. She really loves the human touch and would make a wonderful companion for somebody looking for a best buddy. She walks well on a leash and does not pull and is not distracted by other dogs or squirrels while on a stroll. She knows her basic manners and is crate trained- and when she feels tired or overwhelmed, she will often go to her kennel or lie quietly on a bed in the corner. Deedee likes treats and plays fetch (although she doesn’t ALWAYS bring the toy/ball back right away), she also enjoys tug of war. She has been fostered with two other pit mixes and does like to play, but she would really love one on one interaction with a human. She is gentle and kind, does not bark, and does well with older children (ages 8+). Deedee would make a wonderful asset to a family looking for a laid back dog or an individual who seeks companionship.
