My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dalton(aka “Trip”) 20 pounds of pure love! Trip was brought to a shelter as a stray with a severely infected injured leg when ASF rescue stepped in and rescued him. His front leg has been amputated but that doesn’t keep him down. He is estimated to be 4-6 years old but still acts and plays like a puppy! This happy little fella loves to cuddle and play, toys are the way to his heart. Trip needs to find a home where he will be the only pet in the house. Trip is a people person and loves to meet strangers. He enjoys chasing rain drops and putting thunderstorms in its place. Trip will not do great around small children, older children preferred.

He has come a long way from being a stray and it still learning how to be a house dog, he will need a furever family that will continue to be patient and work with some of his food issues. According to the vet

Trip should have no limitations or long term medical issues due to his leg. He’s just a happy boy looking for a happy family to adopt him.
