My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purebred yellow Labrador Retriever (no AKC papers, though). 2 years old, spayed, up to date in vaccinations. Healthy.
Good with all dogs.
Good with all adults (she hasn't met a lot of children. She would probably be terrific with older kids, but since she chases squirrels, I'm not sure it would be good to have her around really little children, because she might chase them).
Never met a cat, but since she likes to chase squirrels, I wouldn't recommend her around a cat.
House trained.
Crate trained (you can leave her in a crate at night or when you leave the house, if you want).
Leash trained, except she gets very excited (happy) when she sees another dog.
Does not jump up (unless you are new and you are sitting in a chair...she might jump up then), will sit, down, stay.
Found as a stray in northern Minnesota. X-ray shows pellets in her flank (but the veterinarian says that the pellets will not cause her any future pain or complications, and owner should leave them in).
Good with thunder but not gun shots (so she would not make a good hunting dog).
Was considered for therapy dog training, but she gets too excited (happy) when she meets a new dog (or new person). Adopter would have to agree not to use her as a therapy or service dog.
Calm around the house, unless she sees a squirrel outside the window and barks (but then we call her and she comes happily running to us).
Currently fed Taste of the Wild kibble (but you can feed her what you are used to feeding your dog).

Please answer, "How many hours per day would she be left alone?" in your inquiry, please. :-)
