Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack is a wonderful, quirky Lhasa Apso. He has a very independent personality but can also be quite affectionate. He is the kind of dog that will lay at your feet but not in your lap. He is fully house trained, up to date on rabies shots & has had no health problems. He does fine with other dogs, large & small. Jack is an excellent guard dog who has protected our home loyally for the last 9 years.
Unfortunately, Jack has not adapted well to our family with young children. He has not bitten/attacked any members of our young family but has grown increasingly fearful around our young kids. He does fine with older children (recommend 14+) who know how to patiently & calmly handle a dog, but he just can’t seem to handle the chaos & unpredictability of a house with toddlers. We are recognizing that our home is no longer the best fit for Jack.
We love Jack & want to see him go to a loving home. A peaceful home with no small kids would be perfect for him.
