Arrival Story: Mr Wiggles' owner is searching for a new forever home for him and his brother, Mr Norris. These cats are very loved, but must be surrendered due to severe allergies. They could be adopted separately, but if at all possible, we would love for the boys to go to a home together.
Age / Weight: Mr Wiggles is about 6 years old and is a big Maine Coon boy at 14lbs.
Colors: Black, Brown, and Gray. Green Eyes. Pink Nose.
Features: Long, very soft fur, big fluffy paws, distinct kitten meow
Personality Description: Mr Wiggle's home says: Mr. Wiggles was rescued by a friend when he showed up at his cabin door as a kitten. He was brought home and I adopted him. I am not sure of his time before me, but I believe he was abused or mistreated because he is very shy around strangers. However, that changes once he warms up to you.
I joke with people that he is my dog, because he is so much like one. He greets me at the door when I come home and says goodbye when I leave in the morning. He sits on the couch with me while I watch TV and lays with me while I sleep. He is very affectionate and cuddly like a teddy bear. He will often climb up and lay in your lap while you scratch his ears or rub his belly. He likes being picked up and held.
He has a hearty appetite and will eat just about anything. Actually, I have never found anything that he won't eat. Chicken nuggets, fast food, crackers, vegetables, spaghetti; keep an eye on your plate because he scavenges like a shark. His favorite is seafood, he can smell salmon from a mile away.
Brothers and Best Friends: Mr Wiggles' home says: Mr. Wiggles and Mr. Norris are best friends. They enjoy playing, bathing, and sleeping together. I would like to see them stay together if possible. I live alone, so they are used to a more quiet home. They are skiddish when strangers visit, but they eventually get curious and come to see what is going on. They enjoy visits from friends and family that they know. They have never been around children, so I am not sure how they would do, but I assume they would adapt well since they are friendly and very gentle.
Ideal Forever Home: Any loving home who will care for this sweet boy (and maybe his brother?) for his whole life.
