My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Si is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash and a very cuddly, affectionate little man. He gets along great with dogs and cats in spite of his trauma-filled life. His first home, of 4 years kept him in a cat carrier 24/7 unless they took him out to potty - which wasn't often. He got rehomed but his new mom had a stroke and had to learn to walk again. Her medical condition caused her to become homeless and Si went to live with another family. He did great and listened well to the Dad. In fact, he was so in-tune to dad's emotions that the man was in the process of registering him as an emotional support dog. But Si doesn't respect female authority and often acted aggressively towards his new mom. We suspect in his prior home the ower threw things at him to reprimand him due to her inability to walk. He seems to dislike cups and remote controls. Because he has shown aggression, we will not adopt him to a family with children.

Si is a wonderful guard dog, he will alert and ward off intruders - almost too well. We do recommend he be crated when company or workers visit his home because he will stop people from picking up things that don't belong to them. But he's only like that at his own home. When taken out in public, Si is a perfect gentleman. He's friendly towards strangers and overly affectionate. HIs last dad said that Si liked to go to the tavern with him and was a regular "chick-magnet" who won over hearts of everyone he met. We feel that Si would do best in a home with a single male but are open to other possibilities if you think this sweet little man will fit in your home.
