My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charleigh the almost 1 year old CKC miniature dachshund. We rescued her from a home with two young children and another dachshund about 6 weeks ago where she spent a lot of time in a small crate. She is very submissive to wife and I. She follows every step we take and likes to be touching one of us at all times. She is also possessive of us and does not like it when either of our other two female dogs comes near us for affection. She wants us to herself so badly that she even attacks our 11 month old german shepherd to keep her away from us when she comes to sit beside us. The german shepherd has shown extreme restraint and not retaliated even when her muzzle has been bitten, but we recognize the risk to this 5 pound wonder dog that weighs 1/12th of her competition. She has been identified as an alpha female and will be best in a home where she is the only dog, or where there are no other female dogs. Charleigh needs a 1 pet home to show her best potential!
