My story

I'm just 5 years old and about 5 pounds!  I led a sheltered and cuddled life after I was rescued from a puppy mill.   My previous family adored me, but my Momma got very sick and she and Daddy wanted to be certain that I will be safe and loved and get the play time I need, so they searched for help and found SCMR.   My new friends here liked me right away except for Margaret O'Brien who is so crabby sometimes, but I am working on winning her over.  I'm such a happy little fella that nobody can resist me for long.
 
Everything is so exciting for me.  I had never been outside to play before, and there's a big grassy yard to run around in.  Wow, that's amazing!  I was so frightened at first, but Brody Skyway showed me it was safe to step on that stuff... grass, dirt, leaves... great fun. I'm learning to pee on trees outside, but inside I need to wear belly bands for right now. 
 
The other day I got to be a male model at the nearby grooming school, and wouldn't you know it, they were learning how to do fancy colors for Halloween and they made my fur blue!  Everybody was smiling at me and I wish I could always be blue, but foster mom said I will be white again as soon as I have my next bath. They made Brody Skyway all the colors... yellow, green, pink, purple.  He is a rainbow!

I'm currently being fostered and having a ball in Largo, FL, but if you qualify, I could be playing in YOUR city!!
