My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Asia is a lucky young dog - she survived the parvo virus. We pulled her and another dog from a county shelter and the next morning she showed signs of parvo. Her vet records indicated that the owner who surrendered her had not completed the series of puppy shots. Parvo is so prevalent now that it's no wonder she was exposed to it. We were able to afford to have her treated at the CARE Center in Cincinnati, which is a fabulous, 24-hour emergency vet hospital. After five days of intensive treatment Asia came home to recuperate. Now she has fully recovered and feels great.

Asia is a year old and weighs 15 pounds.

BREED INFO: Miniature Schnauzer: The Official Standard of the Miniature Schnauzer describes temperament as "Alert and spirited, yet obedient to command. Friendly, intelligent and willing to please. They should never be overaggressive or timid." Once mature, the Schnauzer has a strongly developed territorial instinct. He is an ideal guard dog as he defends vocally rather than physically. ... A good Schnauzer will bark at anyone who may appear a threat to his home. ... Schnauzers are not random, incessant barkers. They are discriminating and intelligent guard dogs that assume this duty naturally."

Asia ia available to the right home. Please email for an application.
