My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Snow, and got my moniker because I'm the mama of 'the 7 Dwarf' litter of kittens. I'm a sweet, playful, petite Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix dilute tortoiseshell gal with a big plume of a tail and gigantic green eyes who was born about January 2017. Since I'm still young, the Maine Coon ruff around my neck probably hasn't fully grown out to its future majesty.
I'm no couch potato, and I join in playing with the kittens, especially when the laser light is jerking all over the room. I relish any petting, brushing, and head scratches that I get from my sweet foster meowmy. Although I'm not a lap cat per se, I do adore just being somewhere near her to keep her company.
There I was, a teenage mom, barely surviving in a suburban neighborhood, until I found a front porch on which to nurse my 7 kits. Well, the homeowner didn't like that a bit and wanted me 'outta here.' We were headed for the city kill-shelter when my kittens were just one week old, an age which ensured their euthanasia at BARC. I was in a panic, but just in the nick of time, my Buster's Friends foster meowmy rescued us and brought us all to safety inside our foster home. No more hardscrabble life for me, please!
I'll always be grateful for my foster meowmy's saving all of our lives. Although there're no dogs or kids in my foster home, I do great with all the other foster cats.
As much as I like it in my foster home, I know what's best for me is to have a lifetime home of my own now that my kittens are weaned. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet, undemanding yet playful companion, I'm your gal! Arrange to meet me today, and let's write the next chapters of our lives together.
Snow is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Snow, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
