My story

Stan is the Man. He is a gorgeous 4 yr old (as of 4/1/2022) brown/black tabby. Stan has never met a cat he couldn't charm with his gentle soul.
Stan prefers head scratches to being picked up, he gets very chatty and affectionate around meal times.
Whether it's racing, chasing or wrestling with his buddies, Stan's a happy guy. He would be happiest in a home with a friend and would also be ok with a respectful dog. Stan really likes chasing the laser light, DaBird or the Cat Dancer. To say he wouldn't hurt a fly might be a stretch because he is the first to alert everyone that there is a bug in the house. He has developed quite the shoe and cardboard box fetish. He enjoys laying on his foster parents shoes and boxes tend to be chewed on. He enjoys being brushed with the glove brush and doesn't mind a pedicure when you catch him.
Stan will be shy, at first but once he feels comfortable he will be your forever friend.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: The Cat Network is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c) (3), no-kill and life-enhancing cat rescue group. Since 1991, we have rescued and placed thousands of abandoned, abused, stray and shelter cats and kittens in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. After their rescue, the cats and kittens are provided medical care, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Cats and kittens are kept in foster care and then placed in loving permanent homes whenever possible.
