My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coon! This cute 3-4 year old Chihuahua mix that weighs 11lbs is on the search for his furever home! We don't know what is past life was like but we do know that he is going to have a great future. We got him off the streets in Homestead where we was almost ran over in the middle of the intersection. We thankfully got him and searched for his owners but no one claimed him. It's been two years now and he is still on the hunt for his furever family. He does good with other dogs of any size, kids and cats since he doesn't seem to mind them. He may not be 100% housebroken but is crate trained and doggie door trained. Many wonder why his name is Coon but it's all because of his personality. He is very independent, likes to stand on his back legs while begging like a little Raccoon for a treat. He also does this when excited or when he wants to meet a dog or child he sees. He also enjoys butt scratches and rubs.
