My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Carlo, a one and a half 18lb poodle mix. I have learned so many great things since I have been with my foster family. I learned to sit for treats. I love treats by the way especially liver ones so my foster mom thinks I will be super easy to train. Although I do get so excited when I see them that sometimes I stand one my back legs and wave my hands in the air so it might take a minute before I get my bum down. I'm much more interested in cuddles now. When I'm picked up I still cower a bit like I'm scared but once you got me I actually really like it, won't try to get away and really get into the pets. I really really like going for a walk. I get so freakin excited when I know we are going to go that I leap around with joy. I'm still pully on the leash but I'm learning. I've pretty much got this house training thing down but it's still a good idea to let me out side lots because I'm not quite sure how to ask to go out yet. I really like running around The backyard anyways. Other things that make me happy are toys. They are so great and I've gotten really good at knowing what is and isn't a toy. I really like the squeaky toys. The louder the better. I live to play. Playing with other dogs is my favourite thing. I especially like wrestling my big curly foster brother. I still get scared sometimes and might hide in a bush when I do but not nearly as often and I mean what is up with fireworks anyways! Everyone who has met me can't believe that my forever family hasn't snatched me up because they say I'm the cutest, happiest little guy ever. I look like a permanent puppy and have super soft fur. I'm basically a teddy that came to life.

**It's an absolute MUST that I have another dog sibling in my new home who can show me the ropes. I love my foster fur brother and need someone similar that I can bond with.**

As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! Or better yet, an application for me can be found at www.justpawsanimalrescue.com.
