My story

Plucky had active MBD when surrendered. He has kinks in his back and tail. He gets around fine now, but might have issues in the future. He is about 2-3 years old. He needs a lot of patience because he is not fully tame yet.

More about this rescue

Our primary mission is to educate the public on the proper care and husbandry of the captive green iguana. We foster surrendered iguanas while we try to find a permanent home. Iguanas are not easy to care for due to their highly specialized care requirements. We have a rigorous screening process to weed out the people who are only interested in the "cool" factor, or unable/unwilling to commit to the necessary care of a green iguana.
