My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calcifer needs a good sized yard, he grew up in the country in Colorado. He does well with children but doesn't live with children. He lives with 2 cats and does well with them but, only when he is monitored. He loves other dogs and plays with them but does not live with other dogs. Calcifer is 3 years old and likes to be brushed when he can chew on something (stick, cow ear). He is super lovable! He sits, lays down, stays, fetches, high-fives, knows no, is potty trained, knows up, knows go, knows down, knows easy. We are sad to let him go but our situation is not an easy one. We mostly just want him to be loved and well cared for. We have spoiled him since we had him as a puppy. He is a social butterfly and loves people! If he does not live in the country he needs a very sturdy fence for his yard. He likes to take car rides and he likes to swim. Akitas are allergic to soy (includes vegetable oil) but can have it in very small quantities when you have to use it. He is 107 lbs.
